Sowing The Seeds was founded by Marilyn, a young woman from Orange County, California, whose heart is deeply rooted in faith, prayer, and the desire to help others grow closer to God through intentional living.

What began as a quiet dream soon became a calling. Marilyn firmly believes that God planted this vision in her years ago — a tiny seed that He faithfully nurtured and brought to life in His perfect timing.

In the summer of 2025, after months of prayer, reflection, and surrender, Marilyn made the bold decision to leave her full-time job and step into the unknown, trusting that the Lord was calling her to something greater. The journey of entrepreneurship wasn’t easy, but it became one of the most beautiful seasons of faith she’s ever experienced. Every idea, opportunity, and divine connection along the way has been guided by His hand.

Just three months later, the very first Sowing The Seeds Journal Planner was born — a project that required immense sacrifice but brought immeasurable joy. However, as time passed, resources began running low and pressure crept in. Marilyn did what she knew best: she prayed, reflected, and surrendered once again.

That same day, the Lord answered with undeniable clarity. With a strong foundation laid, she has decided to nurture Sowing The Seeds while faithfully stepping back into the workforce — balancing full-time entrepreneurship with a full-time career. With peace and gratitude, Marilyn recognized that this wasn’t a step backward but a divine redirection. 

Her journey is a reminder that obedience sometimes means shifting seasons and trusting that God’s plan is still unfolding.
